Description

The Eva PDF  is a dress and top sewing pattern with a statement sleeve. It has a fitted bodice and three variations- a straight-cut skirt with kick pleat, an A-line skirt and a peplum for the top variation. The focal point of this pattern is the statement sleeve which may look draped or give “power sleeve” vibes depending on the fabric used.  Eva is designed for very stable knit (not more than 20 to 25% stretch) and stretch-woven fabrics and is fastened with an invisible zipper at the centre back.

This day dress sewing pattern will make a great choice for work wear and semi-formal events. The peplum can also be styled with shorts or jeans for a casual look.

This pattern has 4 bodice cup sizes B, C, D & E to choose from. Note that dress sewing pattern cup sizes are not the same as bra cups.

This pattern requires installing an invisible zipper, sewing kick pleats and sewing facing. If you are a beginner or have never done any of these tasks, you may require additional resources.

Style Number: 4001

Size Range: women sizes 4 – 32 split into two overlapping size bands, size band A in sizes  4-20 and size band B in sizes 16-32; and cup sizes B, C, D and E.   Each size band has been drafted and graded separately to ensure a great fit across the entire size range.

Ease: The pattern is designed with about 2″ (5cm) ease at the bust and zero at the waist. The hip has zero ease for the straight-cut skirt view while the A-line skirt has about 5″ (13cm) ease around the hip.

Layers: This pattern has a layers feature that allows you to print only the size(s) you need. The pattern is also coded with different line types to assist you in identifying and tracing out the correct size.

Measurement System: Imperial (inches) and Metric (cm). This pattern has been drafted using the imperial system and conversions to metric are approximates. View the Measurement chart in the picture gallery.

• Medium to heavy-weight, very stable double knits like Scuba, Ponte; dress weight stretch-woven fabrics.
