Description

Renikeji is an elegant style that comes in top and gown lengths with two sleeve length options. A close-fitting dress featuring raglan sleeves, funnel neck, and asymmetric drape that converge to form a grown-on corsage. A versatile dress/top that can be worn casually or dressed up for an elegant evening dress look.

Making up Renikeji is easier than it looks, requiring no zip or fastening, as it is designed for knits.
The gown version is knee-length, while the top just hits the hip line. The long-sleeve option skims the wrist, while the shorter-sleeve option comes just a few inches below the elbow.

The model is 5 feet 8″ (173 cm) and is wearing a size 10.

Size Range: women’s sizes 6-22  (to fit bust 32 to 48″), B-cup bust fullness, across 9 sizes.

Ease: The Renikeji pattern is designed for moderate stretch knits and is designed as a close-fit with a little ease around the bust, waist, hip and biceps.

Layers: This PDF sewing pattern has a layers feature that allows you to print only the size(s) you need. The pattern is also coded with different line types to help you identify and trace the correct size.

Measurement System: Imperial (inches) and Metric (cm). This pattern has been drafted using the imperial system, and conversions to metric are approximate. View the Measurement chart in the booklet preview.

Supplies and Materials:

• Main fabric: Stable to moderately stretchy, medium-weight knit. Choose fabrics with enough stretch to wear without a zipper/fastening– a maximum of 30% crosswise stretch is recommended, a knit fabric that has some drape but is not slinky.
• Interfacing: very lightweight knit fusible for the  collar
• Thread to match
